Coolmax® is a fabric made of polyester fibers that are subjected to a special treatment that creates a particular surface structure. These fibers, square or hexagonal, transport moisture from the skin to the outer surface of the fabric. Humidity dries faster than on other fabrics, such as cotton, and regulates body temperature with evaporative cooling.

Characteristics 

Coolmax® is a technical fabric developed to keep you warm and increase comfort during sleep. Thanks to the special texture acts as a regulator of body temperature, transporting outside moisture. Precisely for this particular regulation is hypoallergenic and antibacterial because it creates a dry environment unfavorable to the proliferation of bacteria.

Washing

The fabric can be comfortably washed in the washing machine with a cycle for delicate; you can use liquid detergent not to be placed directly in the basket. Drying can be done in the open air.

Caleffi Combed Cotton is particularly appreciated in the realization of the Scaldotti, the sofa quilts that will accompany you in moments of relaxation. This fabric retains all the main characteristics of cotton but the processing operations it undergoes by increasing the quality.
In particular, the operation of combing allows you to eliminate the shortest fibers present in cotton and to make uniform and adjust the entire fabric. The gauging in addition to having a very soft hand allows the hot air to remain inside the fibers of the fabric making it warmer.

Characteristics

Caleffi cotton is obtained from a vegetable fiber of the plant of the same name. It is particularly versatile and is suitable for the realization of different products: sponges, complete sheets, duvet covers, bedspreads and as a cover for quilts.
The sturdiness of the fiber, together with the versatility and practicality of maintenance make it the most used material by Caleffi.

Characteristics 

Its main characteristics are: softness, softness and lightness. It has good absorption capacity, does not irritate the skin and is hypoallergenic. In addition, it is particularly breathable and allows a proper air exchange. For these reasons it is the most used material for the realization of baby products.

Washing

It is the most practical fabric to wash in the washing machine by setting a temperature of 40 º C and using liquid detergent. Plain bed linen suits made of cotton fabric can be washed even at 60 º C but it is important that white garments are separated from the colors and different colors. It’s allowed to dry in the dryer.
For cotton fabric is normal a 4-5% shrinkage that can be reduced by setting a moderate centrifuge.

Fior di flanella Caleffi is the cotton flannel used for the production of winter sheets. The best cotton fabric is selected by our experts to be processed and used for winter garments. It’s a twill weave fabric that undergoes different finishing treatments: fulling, gauging and combing. In particular, the gauze lifts the down holding the air and acting as thermal insulation.

Characteristics 

The main characteristic of Cotton Flannel is the incomparable softness: the hairy surface makes it the fabric appreciated by both adults and children. Thanks to the workmanship carried out on the fabric, it is particularly hot and acts as thermal insulation keeping the air. Despite being a particularly warm fabric, it has an extreme lightness on the body.

Washing 

All fabrics in cotton flannel are subject to the phenomenon of pilling, ie the formation of pellets. This phenomenon is not due to a poor quality of the product but to the treatment of gauging that the tissue undergoes. It is not possible to eliminate this phenomenon but only limit it by washing the product before the use of drying at low temperature in the dryer.

Warm Cotton Fabric 

Warm Cotton fabric is less heavy than cotton flannel. It has a lighter gauze than flannel but retains more heat than simple cotton.
Caleffi uses the fabric in warm cotton for the realization of the complete sheets indicated for autumn/ winter.

Characteristics 

The particularly soft and enveloping hand is perfect to accompany you on cold nights.
Compared to flannel fabric, it is less prone to the phenomenon of pilling, that is to the formation of pellets.

The Jersey Colors Caleffi is a fabric composed of 100% cotton that does not contain synthetic fibers and is used for the realization of the bottom sheets. The particular texture with which it is made makes it extremely elastic and suitable for covering mattresses with angles up to 30 cm.

Characteristics 

The Cotton Jersey fabric is particularly stretchy and adapts perfectly to any shape. Being made with natural fibers in 100% cotton is a fabric of excellent quality that retains the same characteristics of cotton.

Washing 

The cotton jersey fabric is practical especially because it does not need ironing. It can be comfortably washed in the washing machine at 40 º C and dried in the open air. We always recommend the use of liquid detergent not to be placed directly in the basket to allow proper distribution.

The advantage of Pagoda fabric is that it does not need ironing. Being a polyester microfibre fabric, it washes in the washing machine with a synthetic cycle and dries quickly in the open air.

The panama Caleffi is characterized by a plot with evident weave that makes more characteristic the products for which it is used. Compared to normal cotton canvas, thicker yarns are used that make the fabric in Panama more consistent.

Washing

Sensifil is made of a high-quality barrier fabric consisting of 300 threads per square inch that prevents allergens from passing through it and, therefore, from being breathed. It is designed for those suffering from asmes and allergies because it allows high air circulation eliminating excess moisture.

The innovative Smartcel Clima fabric consists of 70% polyester, 10% climate and 20% Tencel.
The active thermoregulation is able to absorb the excess heat produced by the body and release it gradually; in particular, the special and unique active molecule opens when there is excess heat while it closes when there is cold.
Caleffi uses it to make the lining for pillows by offering you a controlled microclimate in every season. The fabric has been tested even after multiple washes in the washing machine and guarantees the same qualities of the first use.

The Smartcel Clima fabric allows active thermoregulation at constant and homogeneous temperature (37 C). In addition, it is hypoallergenic and antibacterial ensuring maximum hygiene.

The Sponge is the most used pure cotton cotton fabric for the production of our towels, towels and bathrobes. Thanks to its softness allows you to create a bath linen that gently caresses the skin.

Characteristics

Extremely soft, soft and enveloping, the Caleffi sponge will cover you with a soft embrace at the end of the bathroom.

Washing 

All Caleffi sponges are dyed with reactive dyes that are the most solid and long-lasting. To fix the colors, it is necessary to wash the garments to 60 C before use, taking care to separate the white garments from the colored and the different colors. You can then proceed with the subsequent washes at 40# C with liquid detergent not to be placed directly in the basket to prevent the sponge from staining. In addition, the use of vinegar as a substitute for fabric softener is highly recommended in order not to limit the power of absorption.
Another trick that will increase the softness of the sponge is the use of the dryer at low temperature. If this is not possible, it can be dried in the open air, avoiding the direct sunlight that would dry the fibers.

Tencel is an artificial fabric made of 100% biodegradable natural fiber. Production is ecological thanks to a system that starts from and returns to nature. It’s made from wood-derived cellulose from sustainably managed forests. In fact, for the forests used for the Tencel is used 10-20 times less water than that of cotton.
It is a valid alternative to cotton for those who want to protect the environment.

Characteristics 

The Tencel fabric to the touch is particularly soft and silky so as to resemble the viscose. It has a great power of absorbency and breathability: it naturally eliminates bacterial growth. Bacteria born in humid environments find an unfavorable environment in Tencel that absorbs moisture. For these characteristics, it ensures maximum hygiene without the use of chemical additives.

Washing 

The Tencel is extremely practical: it wrinkles less than the 100% cotton fabric and is faster to iron. To maintain the natural properties, we recommend using a biological detergent without chemical additives.

Caleffi’s Velvet is the protagonist of the living room because it is perfect for the realization of furnishing accessories, as for cushions. The surface shows a thick coat perpendicular to the fabric. A variant of smooth velvet is the ribbed one that comes with embossed ribs that give greater resistance to the fabric.

Characteristics 

Velvet is a smooth and compact fabric with a slightly hairy hand. You will appreciate it to be very soft and comfortable, warming the rooms with a touch of bon ton and elegance.

Washing 

For the velvet fabric it is strongly recommended to wash 60 º C before use, taking care to separate the white garments from the colored. Next, you can continue with a washing at 40# C with liquid detergent not to be placed directly in the basket.
The use of the dryer is not indicated.
